Since we'll be hosting Christmas Eve, the four of us decided to get a nice little tree for the basement. Nope, we didn't trek out to the middle of nowhere (without an axe) and pull a larger-than-needed tree out to take back home. Instead, we ventured less than a mile to the grocery-store parking lot and bought a locally grown and cut tree. It's a nice, little tree and has already been decorated. Though it pales in comparison to the big, fake one upstairs, the little one looks nice, smells nice, and IS REAL. We're all happy, and excited to be seeing many of our family over the course of Thanksgiving through New Years. Merry Christmas :)
